Clint Barton is an elite sharpshooter and overall bad*** fighter who overcame more hurdles before he hit adulthood than many people face in an entire lifetime and continues to fight to keep himself and others safe using little other than quick thinking and a primitive weapon but he also definitely drops everything on his head when trying to pull stuff off of a high shelf.
To be fair, he’s an ordinary mortal performing at Olympic athlete levels while being repeatedly super-punched, with no healing factor or any armor better than whatever improvement on kevlar Tony’s come up with lately. So part of the reason he’s always klutzing around is probably because he spends 90% of his downtime injured, wandering around in a dozey, lightly medicated fog and trying not to strain his healing tendons.
I mean, tell me the flakiness, clumsiness, poor sleep (I’m assuming based on coffee intake) and varying grades of depression don’t match symptoms of chronic pain.
